Since posting my original question we have been able to locate and download a CirrusAudioVista64 sound driver, but have not so far been able to get Windows 10 to admit to it's existence on the hard drive, even when we delete the sound drivers that Windows 10 wants to use, it just re-loads them on the next boot-up.
